Ive kinda always loved the vanilla bean frappuccino, its what i get every time i hit up a Starbucks.. but i had NO idea they had a seasonal PUMPKIN SPICE frappuccino... oh my heck i am SO getting one of these on my way home from school today.. ill letcha know what its like..

in other news. i have a cold. shoot. hah this frappuccino might not be the greatest idea.. but whatever, i don't care right now!!!!

Lovers dance.

Hello everyone.
today is one of those days when my single status creeps back up on me. and its not terribly pleasant :/
is it really wrong for me to want to feel true love. a whole lot of my close friends are growing up, getting married, having kids... and its freaking me out. wanna know why?? ill tell ya
"Good" reasons...
1) I am so excited to have a family of my own someday, and watching my friends start theirs warms my heart...
2) What girl doesn't want to feel loved. And how many girls don't want to find the man of their dreams (whether he is real or not)
"Bad" reasons...
1) I don't even have a boyfriend, its like i repel them. I'm always the friend, which can be great, but really, it kinda sucks,
2) I'm only eighteen, but i feel so old.. ladies be gettin rocks. and I'm nowhere near there
3) I'm not ready... but i sooooo want to be. Marriage is kind of a big deal..

So ya.. those are the thoughts running over and over through my mind. sometimes I'm ecstatic, sometimes not so much. but overall i just kinda want to get over this bump in my life journey. Cuz that's really all it is. I know i will end up happy. And i feel its about time i find my partner and learn the lovers dance.

It slipped out...

HELLOOOO!!!!!! so with the new school year and all, institute is starting up again, and each year, the institute puts on a few days filled with amazing fun events, also known as Welcome Out Week (WOW). and yesterday was the slip and slide at the sugar bowl... and let me tell you..... WOOOOOHOOOOO!!!!! i am so sore all over, and so bruised, but it was sooo worth it!! i got so muddy!!!! hahaha so basically i put a garbage bag on, covered my self in soap, and slip down a massively long tarp with a hose running water down. the things people came up with to go down this hill as creatively as possible... hahaha wow. if i can find pictures i will most definitely be posting some :) maybe i can show you a picture of my mud covered face!! :) but seriously, best. night. ever. :) then we went into walmart, soaking wet!! hah manager almost saw me.. oops!!! well anyways, hope all of you are having a wonderful time!!!! :) later :)

Get Smart

HI GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
school is back aaaaaaaaand i kinda have mixed feelings about the whole endeavour. (if that's even how you spell it..) i sorta feel great cuz its my second year and i feel sorta higher on the food chain, but at the same time, i kinda slacked off and am sorta at the same spot as a lot of the first year keeners... hahah soooooooo.....
in other news. my life has pretty much been boring and walmart infested all summer!!! i did keep myself occupied from time to time with events but mostly just boring stuff (i know i should have been blogging guys.. my bad) but now that the school year has started, i can get right back into the old blogging routine :) I'm excited now!!!!!
so yesterday i  made some wicked cute earrings with some leftover lace and stuff i had from another project that i have yet to finish... ( dumb staple gun is busted)
here ill show ya!!!

so this is what i started with. a couple of old bracelets, a cup to trace the circle onto the lace, lace, needle and thread (and embroidery thread for easier finishing touches) a fabric pencil to trace the circle, scissors to cut it out, and a couple earring hooks and jump rings..... AND!!!!!

.......VOILA!!!! yeah it was time consuming... all the wrapping in and out.. but id have to say it was a more than successful project!! yes? i love them. I'm wearing them right now!!!! if you want more details on how i did it and not just a list of materials, feel free to comment, and hopefully we can work something out ;)

in other news, my sister came up to Alberta with her daughters for a week in august this summer.. i miss them already!!!! we went to feed the horses across the way from our house... hahaha Megan was scared :) but we made her do it!! wanna snap shot??? :)

aren't they adorable!!!!! little Nolan is so precious!! he has the cutest eyes ever.....

SEE!! heart breaker right there.... :) i love them....
 well anyways, i have an email i have to send to my prof, and this post is pretty decent i think.
