SORRY!!

Hi guys!!!! i realized its been foreverrrrrrr since i posted anything :) ive missed it!!! but basically the things is is i was posting on my blog from the university library, which i had full access to, and when school ended, well things got a little tougher haha. so!!! here i am and i just figured id say a quick hello, not much has changed, its just SUMMERRRRR!!!!!! :) i loooove summer... only the best! Tan lines :) Flip flops :) Fresh cut grass :) Bridge jumping :) SLURPEES!!!! hehe yes!!!!
Soooo, ive just been workin at good ol reliable wally's... haha ive almost been there a whole year. dangit. i want a new job. buuuut on the bright side, tomorrow after work i get to go bathing suit shopping!!! im suuuper excited, its kinda hard for me to find a decent fitting swim suit at a good price. soooo i will try to post a picture tomorrow of it.. probly not on, but yea we'll see haha. love you guys!! sorry for the lame ness of being off for so long

Hello everybody, so i have pretty much had the best weekend ever. despite its ups and downs, it has opened up my eyes to everything. So, like i said, Quin is home :)
On friday, he picked me up from school ( around five) haha and took me round town doin errands, looking at dirt bikes, ya know, guy stuff, and i didnt care, cuz he was with me. Then we went to his grandma's house to chill until this bonfire that happened latter that night. We watched les miserables, and cuddled on the couch. Pretty much perfect. This guy is everything to me. He is so sweet, and knows exactly what to say, and when to say it. I'm not afraid to be myself around him.
So anyways, back to the weekend. After les mis, we went home to my place to get changed for the bonfire and so he could meet my parents. Then we stopped by quick at a friend's house to say hi.
Okay so this bonfire, not even close to a bonfire, it was dangerous. Nicole can atest to this. got close to calling the fire department haha, about the width of a small house. carazyyy

okay so here is a not so great picture of the bonfire, but anyways, you get the gist of it, singed off some hair haha, but not mine ;)
so this bonfire was another opportunity to snuggle. too cute. Then we drove home pretty late, and talked about stuff.

then the next day i went over bright and early to a friend's house to help her get her nail exam done, she's a gem. so here are the nails, first timer ;) hehe

I love em :) i catch myself with my pinky out abnormaly far haha funny times, i wonder how long it will take for them to grow out.

So anyways, after that i had to go home, but then i got a text from Quin asking if i wanted to do something, so i said yes of course :) he took me shooting first, with his 22, made originaly in the 30's, no joke. it was super fun, and i hit the target every time :) from about thirty to forty feet away, these were my very first five shots

That's right :) haha so much fun. well, then after the shooting we went to his ward rodeo, and i met his parents on the way, so nice, i love his family so far :)

So at the rodeo, he got me on a horse for the first time. Lead her through the barrels, then hopped on and got her trotting around the stadium, sooo much fun. then there was a three legged race, and i have a bruise around my ankle from it haha good memories, then there was food and some line dancing, sooo much fun, but then i got really tired so we left, only to discover the next day that we were going to be named rodeo king and queen, but we left. aaaawwee :) i wish we would have stayed, and i am well aware that it is my fault we didnt haha. but anyways, then we went over to his sister's house and watched RED again, while she wrote out wedding invitations, (such a cute couple those two) hehe and yeah, then is was sunday and it all went great

Just in case youre wondering, no, quin is not my boyfriend. we are both crazy about eachother, but realize that it wouldnt be fair to get into a long serious relationship right before he leaves on his mission. so we are best friends for now, and we will see how that goes. well, toodles!! :)

Okay, you so remember how last time i posted, i said that quin would be home in two weeks????? WELL!!! he's home today!! in a matter of hours i will finaly get to see him again!! He is picking me up from school at two o clock, right after my math class and the wheels will keep turning.
We will hang out some, grab a bite to eat, wqatch a some conference, mebe play some video games (haha he was so surprised when i told him i like them) then go to a bonfire :) so in total, we will have spent about ten hours together today :) soooo looking forward to this :)
Theeeeeenn!! on saturday we will both be busy doing our own thing for most of the day. i have a bridal shower to go to. (love you karlee hatch!!) Before that bridal shower she wants to do my nails cuz shes just a doll that way. ive never had them done before so it should be a fun time!! ill post pics for sure if i remember :) so then theres the bridal shower. and then he wants to do something again that night.. aaahhh!!! only dying inside today :) teehee hes so great :)
so yea :) if i can remember i will post pics of the events :) <3 ttfn!

I'm a fool

Good morning all. april fools today...
i must say i have never really liked today, im not one to pull pranks, treat others like you would like to be treated right? and im not one who likes to be played with. only one person has managed to tease me and make me smile every time, and thats quin.
this morning he sent me a text saying that he would be staying up north for another four weeks instead of two... and i just about died. then he said april fools, and laughed so hard i almost fell off my chair... in the quiet section of the library... hahaha oh man hes just the greatest. i suppose i am a fool, a fool for everything he says and does. he says all the right things. two more weeks <3

Sunshine and Cowboys :)

Today is a good day. The sun is out and it is just perfect. got my sandies on again, winter jacket is at home in the closet, (where i hope it will stay for a very long time)... I love the sun. and all the beauty it brings. the smell of fresh cut grass, gas at a gas station, chlorine in a pool. the feeling of running your fingers through warm sand on a beach. jumping into a cool pool on a hot summer day. i just love summer. and its almost here!!!! :) im so excited, cuz that also means Quin will be home :) my cowboy ;)
He's the sweetest guy ever and im just so glad i know him, says all the right things, acts goofy at just the right times. yea he has his flaws, but everyone does :) and i can live with em :) i have more than him and he still doesnt believe me, but we'll work on it.
Looking forward to a wonderful summer, full of sunshine, adventures and hot days :D

I am at a point in my life where i am almost 100 percent satisfied with the way things are going. of course, every girl has her doubts about certain things, but its hard because its not supposed to be easy. its hard because its worth it. when you have to put your whole heart into something in order to finish it, its that much more satisfying once its done.


So recently ive become obsessed with DIY and recycling old things. like this bag for example

coolest thing ive seen, ive wanted to make a tie bag for a longtime, but this one is the coolest ive seen so far, i might just try it out :) my creativity and my mother's ginome dewing machine.. the possibilities are almost endless :)

so going back to the little things, im so looking forward to continuing on my quest of noticing the smaller things, and appreciating more the life ive been given. :)
